Pagpag , a movie follows a group of teenagers that are terrorized by an evil spirit.
It revolves around the traditional Filipino belief that one should never go home directly after visiting a wake since it risks bringing evil spirits or the deceased to one’s home. One should first shake off (in Filipino, pagpág) whatever curse there may be to avoid being trailed by the soul of the dead.
Plot
Zarina (Empress) visits the funeral of her boyfriend Joseph Maurice (Enchong Dee) who hung himself. She is driven away by the boy's mother, insisting her son died because of her. When she arrives home, her sister asks her if she did the "pagpag" but she replies that she doesn't believe in it. Afterwards, she is suddenly haunted by the ghost of her dead boyfriend.

Superstitions Used (DEATHS)
- Marcelo- He was sweeping the floor with a broom during the wake. His death involved a broom being impaled through his throat.
- Hannah- She cried and dropped tears on the coffin (after seeing Cedric and Leni). Her death involved her eyes being crushed by Roman's ghost, then finally snapping her neck.
- Rico- He wiped the tears off of the coffin with his handkerchief. His death involved the handkerchief he used being the medium of fright then finally being "wiped" off by Roman in the bathroom walls, severely injuring him to death.
- Eva- She unknowingly accompanied the other victims out of the house where Roman's wake was held. Her death involved being sucked inside the tomb which belonged to "Benedicto Hatid". "Hatid" is the Tagalog term for accompany.
- Ashley- She looked at herself in a compact mirror during the wake. Her death involved being thrown into a mirror then falling down the banister before a glass chandelier falls unto her back, killing her.
- Justin- He attempted to take home food (a sandwich) from the wake. His death involved being crushed between two trucks to which the police referred to as being "sandwiched".
- Dencio- He stole the money offering below Roman's coffin. His death involved him trying the return the cash to Roman's ghost before being beheaded in a car window.
